Missions

The people of Eden Chapel reach out in many ways to share the good news of Jesus Christ,
both at home and around the world. Below are some ongoing projects that Eden Chapel supports.

 Drive to Thrive

Our newest mission is to provide small gifts and encouragement to local nursing home residents and shut-ins. Bags of gifts are delivered on a monthly basis and bring joy to those who are remembered in this time of isolation due to the pandemic.

Love Bears

The Love Bears ministry brings together joyful sewers and stuffers on Wednesday afternoons to make small bears. These bears are distributed to hospitals, law enforcement agencies, shelters for battered persons, foster homes, camps, and other agencies. They help distribute the bears to people of all ages who need a little cheering up or something to cling to and reassurance of God’s love.

Anyone in the community is welcome to be a part of the Love Bears crew.

Noisy Buckets

The last Sunday of each month is Noisy Buckets Sunday at Eden Chapel. At the beginning of the service people are welcome to drop their change in the buckets and “make some noise.” Donations go to support a different mission each month. Missions range from global projects such as drilling water wells in India to providing socks and diapers for local foster children.
